The term "Enterprise Computers" is used to refer to those computer systems which provide general functionality to the user organization. Please refer to Enterprise Software for a discussion of the relationship of the software functionality running on enterprise computers to that of the Access 1000 Warehouse Management System.
The term "Host" refers to the enterprise computer which provides the order processing function and interfaces directly with Access 1000 WMS to supply order processing information.
The Access 1000 WMS supports connection to enterprise computers using the following technologies:
- Local Area Network
- Wide Area Network
- RS-232 direct
- RS-232 modem connect

Communicating via file import export or TCP/IP
 The Host talks to Access 1000
as though it were a standard terminal in either real-time or
on-demand.
We support connection to enterprise computers running Unix and Windows operating systems. We will support connection to IBM AS/400 when required by customer installation
Enterprise System Interfaces provides information on the methods we provide at the level of application functions when communicating with enterprise computers.
